Campers are divided into groups by age and gender for morning instructional activities. The morning program includes the five instructional activity areas, a morning snack break, and an open swim just before lunch for the entire camp. All campers are strongly encouraged to get into the pool for their instructional swim time, but free swim is optional. Full day campers should bring a healthy snack for morning break and a sack lunch from home. Campers have snack break at 10:15am each day and eat lunch at 12:30pm. Campers are placed into different groups that are split only by age for afternoon activities and these activities are less strenuous in nature. Each group will have an afternoon open swim that is also optional, and an afternoon 'quiet time'. Camp staff will provide a G-rated movie each day during this quiet time and campers who do not watch the movie will be supervised as they read or play a game. Camp staff provides some board games, but campers may bring a book or their own quiet game from home. Please do not send electronic games or other valuable items!
Campers should wear shorts, t-shirt, socks and athletic shoes with non-marking soles. Campers should bring a swim suit (towels and a locker provided), snack for morning break, lunch, and a second swim suit (optional). Campers may also bring a water bottle, swim goggles and sunscreen if desired. No open-toed shoes!
