Home Care Aide Certificate

Description

The course includes 60 hours of quality classroom instruction and hands-on practice and a 15 hour clinical experience. Students who complete the program are eligible for National Association for Home Care & Hospice Home Care Aide certification. Clinical experience is scheduled after successful completion of course work. 

Requirements for Acceptance:
- Copy of high school diploma or GED
- Must have a physical within the last 6 months

- Must test negative for a 2-step tuberculosis test

- 
Certified Background Check and finger printing

Home Health Agencies Requirements:
- Reliable car
- Home phone or cell phone with message capability
- Auto insurance
- Good driving record
- Background check
- No felony on record
- May ask for drug testing

Program Costs:
$595.00** ($300 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration) balance must be paid in full before the beginning of class.

Certified Background Check,
this is to be completed prior to the beginning of the class.
