The course includes 60 hours of quality classroom instruction and hands-on practice and a 15 hour clinical experience. Students who complete the program are eligible for National Association for Home Care & Hospice Home Care Aide certification. Clinical experience is scheduled after successful completion of course work. Requirements for Acceptance: - Copy of high school diploma or GED- Must have a physical within the last 6 months- Must test negative for a 2-step tuberculosis test- Certified Background Check and finger printingHome Health Agencies Requirements:- Reliable car- Home phone or cell phone with message capability- Auto insurance- Good driving record- Background check- No felony on record- May ask for drug testingProgram Dates:This program is not being offered at the current time.
