This four-week workshop series, facilitated by Liz Broscoe (www.drumchik.com), introduces young women, ages 9-18, to the basics of rhythm and drumming. A variety of multi-cultural drums, in addition to bucket drums and drum set, will be presented. This workshop provides an opportunity for young women to enhance their self-esteem and confidence through drumming. A short performance at the end of the workshop allows participants to share their experience with family and friends. Registration Deadline: February 22nd, 2013 by noon
