Start Investigating Wild Careers in biology and wildlife alongside staff at the Zoo, Aquarium, Botanic Garden and Tingley Beach!

Grade: 7-9

Cost: $230

Where: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the Aquarium/Botanic Garden

            Thursday and Friday at the Zoo

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Dates: Camps run Monday-Friday. Choose one of the following weeks (the same curriculum is covered every week): June 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26 or July 6-10, 13-17, 20-24


Thinking of a career working with wildlife? Ever wonder what it’s like to be a zookeeper, aquarist, or master gardener? This camp takes you further into the professional world of the BioPark than ever before. What does it take to care for endangered species like Asian elephants and silvery minnows? What kind of plans go into designing a landscape? What other jobs do people do to make the BioPark such a cool place? Discover the complex, hidden side of the BioPark – the real nitty-gritty details from the people who know it best. It’s the first step towards your future in conservation! Every day includes behind the scenes tours and staff talks, putting new skills into action, investigating ways to help save wildlife, and more!
