Some shots are classics. We see them in films, magazine ads, and professional portraits. Before digital cameras, only highly skilled pros with complicated lighting equipment could get consistently good results for these types of shots. Now it’s easy, if you know a little about lighting. This class covers the equipment and essential setups for three types of portraits, two types of still life (for artistic compositions or eBay auctions), Macro basics (close-up photography), Panorama Landscape, basic architecture shooting for vacation pictures, and the easist approach to Family Photos. It is helpful if students take Digital Photography – Basics and Beyond before taking this course, but not required. Materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at class for a CD of the entire lecture with graphics and additional supporting documents. The disc contains more than 400 items which form a helpful reference library for a variety of shooting situations. Bring your camera and manual! Instructor: Jeffery Jay Luhn has been a professional photographer for 35 years with studios in New York, Hong Kong and San Francisco. He has B.A from Brooks Institute of Photography and holds a California College Teaching Credential. See the work of Jeffery and his students at www.LuhnPhoto.com
