Summer School: The Los Gatos Elementary Summer School is a 4-week morning summer school program from June 17 through July 12. The program is offered in collaboration with Los Gatos Union School District administration and teachers. The base fee for the four week program is $475. No Class or Camp on Thursday, July 4th.
Kindergarten: This class is open to all children who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall. The children will be given a fun-filled introduction to what school is like. They will work on a variety of activities that cover art and crafts, dance, music, stories, pre-reading, pre-math skills, motor development and social skills. Students will become acquainted with the environment, curriculum, routines, and expectations of Kindergarten. Additional $16 materials fee payable at the time of registration. Material fees are non-refundable.
First Grade: This class is open to all children who will be entering first grade in the fall. Student-centered lessons will be offered around nature, science, art, music, story, games, numbers, letters, and more. The goal is to enhance the academic education received during the school year, while promoting a love for learning. Help your student maintain their educational enthusiasm and continuity by enrolling in this class. Additional $16 materials fee payable at the time of registration. Material fees are non-refundable.Afternoon Camp: Have fun with friends at our afternoon camp! Camps for students entering K-1 will be located at the Clubhouse. Camp features: swimming (when available), cookouts, special field trips by bus, and visits from special guests. Weekly field trips include Happy Hollow, Children's Discovery Museum, Build A Bear, and The Jungle. Each week will feature arts and crafts, cooking, group activities, games, creative dramatics, and more! Fees cover daily snack, cookout lunch once a week, bus and admission fees for field trip and swimming (if available). A bag lunch should be brought each day unless weekly activity sheet states otherwise. The recreation staff is not responsible for students left on campus after 12:15PM, unless they are enrolled in afternoon camp. NO CAMP 7/4.
Before School Care: Note: Children must be enrolled in summer school to enroll in Before School Care. This program offers children an opportunity to socialize and participate in open-ended activities while making new friends within a supervised environment. It allows parents to beat the traffic and drop their children off early in a safe location for summer school. NO CAMP 7/4
Summer School and Camp Rules: No visiting friends allowed. Absences are to be reported to the school and camp, by telephone, on a daily basis. Note for leaving early for an appointment is to be turned into the school secretary before the morning appointment. For the safety of all, skateboards are NOT permitted at summer school or camp. If a child has a discipline problem, the principals may drop him/her from the class or camp without a refund. The summer school and recreation staffs are not responsible for students left on campus after 12:05 PM, unless they are enrolled in afternoon camp. The Los Gatos Police will be called to pick up the child if they have not been picked up by 12:15 PM.

Material fees for Summer School are NOT refunded.
CHANGES: A $10 charge will be added to each transfer for Summer School classes.
