Field dodgeball, flag football, ultimate frisbee, kickball, tug-of-war, disc golf, and a final day of water gun and slip and slide action. What could be more fun for those dog days of summer! This camp is designed for boys and girls entering 5th - 8th grades in the fall. Pack your sunscreen, water bottle and a snack. Don't forget a water gun on our final day if you have one and a towel because you are going to have a blast getting wet! Register by Monday, 7/29.

Want to get on a board but afraid of the crash? True beginners can pad up and use our specially designed "slower" boards indoors on a flat surface. Our enthusiastic instructors will have you making unbelievable progress in no time! Due to the generosity of a local donor this program is offered at an extremely reasonable cost.  Boards and protective gear provided.  Register by Tuesday, June 25th. Ages 6 - 14 years.

This year's event is scheduled for June 1st at Pendleton High School.

For information only - not online registration. The Pendleton City Club, Mid Columbia Bus Company and the Pendleton Parks and Recreation Department will host the 34th Annual Hershey's Track Meet. Additional support will be provided by PHS Track Team volunteers and Round-Up City Racer parents. Participation is FREE! The younger age group does not need to register and the older group will register at the event beginning at 10:30 am. See link for copy of registration form if you would like to pre-fill and bring to meet. Hershey's state qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus, Saturday July 6th.

Ages 1 through 8, Just For Fun Meet - events begin at 9:30 am
Participate in as many events as you have time and energy to complete.

Ages 9 through 14, Local Qualifier - registration at 10:30 am
Choose two track and one field or two field and one track event. 
9 - 10 years:   50 m dash, 100 m dash, 200 m dash, 400 m dash, 4 x 100 m relay, standing long jump, softball throw.
11 - 12 years:  100 m dash, 200 m dash, 400 m dash, 800 m run, 4 x 100 m relay, standing long jump, softball throw.
13 - 14 years:  100 m dash, 200 m dash, 800 m run, 1600 m run, 4 x 100 m relay, standing long jump, softball throw.  Ribbons to all participants!

This is going to be soooo much fun. Lets get loud, jump up and down and cheer for our team at select Pendleton Youth Football games in October including the league championship Requa Bowl!!! Girls ages 7 - 13 years are invited to join cheer squad. Practices will be held in the Helen McCune Gymnasium at the Pendleton Recreation Center.

September practices: Mo., 9/16, We., 9/18, Mo.9/23, We. 9/25, Mo. 9/30; 6:30-7:30 p.m.
October practices: Mondays, 10/7 to 10/28

 The registration fee includes pom poms and a special cheer shirt. Girls are encouraged to wear coordinating shorts or sweats depending on the weather. Our colors will be kelley green and white in keeping with Pendleton Bucks tradition. Please register no later than Wednesday, September 19th so we can have our poms and shirts in time for our first game. Please choose a t-shirt size when registering and order large enough to accomodate a long sleeve shirt underneath in case of cool weather. Saturdays in October can vary dramatically and we may cheer at a week night game.

Dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee and Flag Football for boys and girls ages 13-15 years. Meets at Grecian Heights Park during the month of July on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. - noon. Thanks to a volunteer who enjoys being a big kid there is no fee involved with this program. Parents do need to complete a registration form and waiver which can be obtained on your teen's first day of participation or at our main office, 865 Tutuilla Rd. (next to the cemetery).

Explore the world of tennis in a fun and entertaining way. Games focus on fun while sliding in skill development "through the back door". Meets at Community Park tennis courts on Tuesday, July 16th from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. The $5 registration fee is due by Thursday, July 11th. If you have equipment please bring it but you are not required to bring a racket with you.

Kids will learn the elements of a full swing, the short game, putting rules and golf etiquette. Four classes; last will class will include a mini "scramble". Limited number of youth clubs available on loan for class. Open to ages 8 - 14 years. Please register no later than Wednesday, July 24th.
