Thicker mat is recommended. Beginners bring 3-5 lb hand weights; experienced bring 5-8 lb hand weights; advanced and men bring 8-10 lb weights.
Purchasing a "drop-in" date allows you to attend this class just once (or as many times as you like) without having to enroll in the class full-time.
