Learn the fundamentals of in-home wiring in this introductory class while gaining the techniques to do the job safely and effectively. Topics include switching, receptacle, ground fault circuit inter-rupters, 3 and 4-way switches, ceiling fans, and other helpful wiring tasks

Industrial Electronics

Begin by learning the basics of electronic fundamentals used in industry and follow through with advanced instruction.  Students will gain understanding of DC/AC theory, terms, symbols, components, definitions, explanations, schematic and ladder diagrams.  Expand your knowledge by gaining an understanding of single phase/three phase AC voltage, transducers, transformers, motors, and starters/controllers.  Continue with troubleshooting theories and techniques necessary to maintain and support relay and discrete logic, SCRs, and PLCs.  This course consists of classroom discussion, some hands-on activities, and home study.  Tuition includes the Digital Multimeter (DMM) equipment.

National Electrical Code 2011
