Fundamentals of Residential Wiring
Prerequisite:  Electrical Safety
Learn the fundamentals of in-home wiring in this introductory class while gaining the techniques to do the job safely and effectively. Topics include switching, receptacle, ground fault circuit interrupters, 3- and 4-way switches, ceiling fans, and other helpful wiring tasks.

Industrial Electronics

Students will learn the fundamentals of industrial electronics used in the industry including DC/AC theory, terms, symbols, components, definitions, explanations, and schematic and ladder diagrams. We’ll continue with troubleshooting theories and techniques necessary to maintain and support relay and discrete logic, SCRs, and PLCs. This course consists of classroom discussion, some hands-on activities, and home study. Tuition includes the Digital Multimeter (DMM).

National Electrical Code 2014

Prerequisite: Knowledge of electrical terminology and electrical experience

Become more knowledgeable of the electrical requirements imposed by the NEC. Upon completion, you will have enough technical information to take the NEC license exam. This class will teach the 2014 NEC Code.
