Digital Photography – An Introduction

So do you own a digital camera and want to learn what those dials and buttons do? This class is for those who own a point & shoot, mirror-less, or entry DSLR camera. The course covers some of the controls of the camera to allow the photographer to be a little more creative with their pictures. Students will learn how to organize their pictures on their computer, share their photos with others and make some improvements using Photoshop. Basic computer skills are highly recommended. Bring a USB flashdrive to save your work. All classes are held in the computer lab. *A Saturday field trip will be held on 2/2 and 4/6, details  arranged in class.

You will learn how to utilize the powerful tools of Photoshop and camera raw plug-ins in photo retouching, editing, and explore photo compositing. You will also learn to use some of the many special effects to enhance your photos and make them unique. Bring a USB flash drive to save your files.
