This course will help you develop the additional reading and thinking skills you’ll need to succeed in all five GED test areas: Writing Skills, Social Studies, Science, Literature and Math. After completion of this course, you should be well-equipped to take — and pass — the GED!

This three-to four-session course is offered at the Flat River Conservation Club, located 8 miles North of Greenville on M-91. The course is taught by club members who are certified coaches, instructors, or competitors in the disciplines of range safety, equipment needed and successful  techniques to break clay targets. Hands-on instruction is provided in these discipline. Participants are responsible for the ammunition and eye and ear protection. Campers experience the great outdoors through adventures in the woods, trail hikes, nature crafts, games and more. This includes learning about animals, trees and the natural environment, too. MCC's Outdoor Recreation Camp is filled with fun activities designed for sixth-through tenth-graders and takes place on MCC's Sidney Campus. This camp is held outdoors and campers should dress for the weather. Breakfast and lunch are served each day.

Third- through eighth-graders have fun learning new skills during this week-long camp which includes basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis and many other sports! Breakfast and lunch are served each day, and campers use the gym daily. 

Children ages 10 and up can explore science with MCC Biology instructor Heather Wesp. Breakfast and lunch is provided.
