Orientation to Agricultural supply businesses, farm and ranch management, food markets, capital markets, etc. Course will provide an overview of the role of agriculture in the U.S. and world economies.

This 6 session program will introduce you to the survival skills needed to participate in advanced Rock Climbing trips.  You will learn the use of a map, compass, rope, harness and buddy system that will qualify you to become a safer and more prepared rock climber.  Five sessions will be held at our indoor training facility and adjacent grounds with the final session being conducted at the headwaters of the San Lorenzo River.  A five mile hike and then a 1 mile vertical climb will allow you to test your newly learned skills.

The Sierra Parks and Recreation Senior Services Division will host the 4th annual competition for residents 50 years of age and older. Opening ceremonies will be held at Lake Crystal, Main Building.

The Sierra Senior Olympics Games will feature medal competition in more than 15 sporting events, including swimming, tennis, track and field, basketball, table tennis. The games are a popular event among our local seniors, so we encourage you to register early.

There is a registration fee of $15 per athlete, which includes a t-shirt and entry to 1 or all events. Registration can be completed online or in person at the designated centers.
