This class examines complete works of contemporary authors from various regions in the French speaking world. Each writer shows her/his personal view about our changing world. Whether they talk about Europe (Belgium or France), Africa (Cameroun, Sénégal, Morocco, Tunisia) or Guadeloupe, they all share a common passion for the region they describe while presenting a unique perspective on what it means to live there. This class is offered to students who are in the process of learning French and the course is accessible at A2 level. Each book studied in this class comes with a set of activities: vocabulary handouts, thematic study, interview of the author on video and creative writing workshops.
