You’ll meet animals up close and tour the Zoo to learn about incredible critters from around the world. You’ll discover tiny frogs, enormous elephants and everything in between. Games, arts and crafts, and lots of fun are all included in this half-day camp. The same class is offered in the morning and in the afternoon.

Discover the many motions of nature in Land and Ocean Locomotion!

Where:  Aquarium and Botanic Garden
Dates:   Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – noon only
             June 3-7                     July 15-19

Explore how seeds fly, fish wiggle, ducks waddle, and elephants march.  Along the way, learn about some uniquely human types of locomotion. Take a ride on the Rio Line Railroad, and visit the Botanic Garden's miniature railroad where tiny trees are grown. Along the way, meet some of the animals that help people get around. All aboard! Chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo!

Join the quest to see, smell, hear, touch, taste, and discover the wonders of the Aquarium and Botanic Garden. From exploding seeds, fish that kiss, and bugs that farm, there’s a lot in store during this class.
