Farm Sprouts

Farm Sprouts learn and grow during this weekly class down on the farm.


Ages: 3-5 years old


Cost: $130 for all seven classes.Price includes one child and one adult.Additional children are $65 each for all seven classes.


Where: Heritage Farm Exhibit at the Botanic Garden

Travel back in time for one day a week at the 1920s-era Heritage Farm! Pre-school children and one accompanying adult find out first hand what a child’s life used to be like on a farm. We’ll learn how to harvest berries, practice milking a cow, and watch tractors in the field.  Every day includes songs, crafts and good old-fashioned fun and games.

Nature Beginnings Thursday Sessions

Explore the amazing world of animals and plants at the BioPark during Nature Beginnings.


Ages: 3-6 years old


Cost: $130 for all seven classes. Price includes one child and one adult. Additional children are $65 per child for all seven classes.


Where: Classes alternate between the Zoo and Aquarium/Garden


When: Thursday Session, 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.                 June 6     June 27   July 25                 June 13   July 11                   June 20   July 18  We also offer a Wednesday session; please return to the Preschool menu to enroll in it.


Preschool children and one accompanying adult will play games, create fun works of art, sing songs and of course, visit the exhibits.  Come take a peek in the ocean, watch a butterfly drink from a daisy and discover animals from around the world.
