Youth Art
Art classes for youth ages 4 - 12 years

Journey to Silo Park this summer to create unique hands-on art projects.
Each program teaches participants about a different art medium and technique that will be used in designing and constructing the art project.
For all activities please wear sneakers and clothes that can get dirty.
All participants will receive an Art in the Park t-shirt and all art supplies and snacks will be provided.
Staff will allow your child to stay from Noon to 12:30 p.m. if you sign up for both Fun in the Sun and Art in the Park on the same day.
Join us for one day or several to create and play!

This fun-hands on art program combines art with history. Discover and learn about famous artists throughout history and their masterpieces! Participants will recreate famous works of art based on the style of the artists and the mediums used to create the artwork.
TWO Mini Art Masters programs will be offered on Mondays. Join us for the full day or just half the day. If participating in both the morning and afternoon program, please bring a sack lunch. Staff will supervise and provide activities during the program transition.
Please wear clothes that can get dirty and sneakers.
All art supplies and snacks will be provided.

Young artists will learn the basic elements of drawing which include form, line, proportion, perspective, texture and value.
Each week students will learn these elements through drawing still lives, nature scenes and portraits. The last day of the program students will test their drawing skills using watercolor. Parents will be amazed by their child's progress!
