Special Topics Camps for ages 11+

Special Topics campers will focus on a specific media, project, or theme throughout the week. Dress for mess and bring a bag lunch. All art supplies are included unless otherwise noted.
INDIE-SEWING: PLUSH CREATURES AND MORE: Girls and boys alike will have a blast creating stuffed animals, monsters, robots, and other imaginative creatures in this indie-sewing camp. From plush toys to functional bags, campers will learn the process of hand-sewing through sketching ideas, then making a pattern, choosing colors and fabrics, stitching, and embellishing.

STOP-MOTION ANIMATION: Bring objects, images, and your own artwork to life through stop-motion animation! You’ll learn how to set up a shoot, photograph a variety of media manipulated in small increments, and pull your images together in a simple editing program to create a YouTube-ready animation.
