The American Red Cross has updated the lifeguarding materials and eliminated the "challenge" course as a training option. All returning guards will need to take a Review course, and new lifeguards will need to take a Full Certification course. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL PUBLISHED DATES AND TIMES OF YOUR COURSE. There is no leaving early for the Prom, Graduation, your cousin's wedding, a raging party, a tutoring session or anything else. There is no arriving late due to the Prom, Graduation, illness, your brother's graduation, etc. Again, if you cannot make all dates and times for your course, you need to select a different course.
Course times:
Lifeguarding courses (4.5 days held 2 weekends in a row):
Friday 6 - 9 pm,
Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday 9 am - 5 pm
Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday 9 am - 5 pm
Lifeguarding courses (4 days, Monday - Thursday, summer):
Monday - Thursday 9 am - 5 pm each day
Lifeguarding Review courses (2.5 days held 1 weekend):
Friday 6 - 9 pm,
Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday 9 am - 5 pm
Lifeguarding Review courses (2 days, Monday - Tuesday, summer):
Monday - Tuesday 9 am - 5 pm each day
Instructor courses: Saturdays and Sundays 9 am - 5 pm.
All courses will be confirmed or cancelled by email - YOU MUST HAVE A VALID email address in order to register.
If you are an employee of Sweetwater Pools, Inc., you must turn in your application for the 2012 season before the employee rate pricing will be activated on your account.
