Grades 2-5 In this "loco" (loco = crazy in Spanish) class, students will learn about animal locomotion. In simple terms, they will learn how animals move and engineer mechanical replicas. Using Lego blocks, electric motors, and gears, students will be faced with challenges such as the Mountain Goat and Slippery Slope challenge. Concepts learned in this include Newton's 3rd law of motion and gearing. Students will also complete in our final day challenge and earn medals!
