This workshop is a component of the Community Education program encompassing Community Kitchen, Health/ Fitness and Life Enhancement. This workshop series is designed to help people make healthy lifestyle choices. Class participants will explore how nutritious cooking, stress management and exercise can lead to a more balanced and healthy lifestyle. The nutrition and cooking component will address “what is healthy eating?”, through lecture and preparation of healthy snacks, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The stress management component will offer a lecture series on food relationships and barriers to change and techniques in stress management exercises. The exercise component will offer (8) eight exercise tasters in: Pilates, cardio, core, circuit, P90X, yoga techniques that can be directly applied to home use.
