An Arduino (ar-DWEEN-oh) is a small microcontroller that you program to control just about anything. It can automatically switch on lights and buzzers and motors and sense the work with switches and buttons. It’s the perfect device to build that robot you’ve always wanted. You’ll start learning with controlling an LED and finish up programming a motor to do anything you want. You’ll also learn how to make simple electrical circuits that you plug into the Arduino. This thing is amazing! The Arduino can be programmed to perform thousands of operations. You will learn simple text-based programming so some computer experience is required.
