Classy Comfort Food! (13-18 yrs)

We'll warm up with a nice French version of baked grilled cheese, Croque Monsieur, and a side of snowman potatoes.  Well wrap up our delicious meal with a mouth watering chocolate mousse.

In a fun and relaxed environment, discover the joy of cooking and baking delicious meals and treats.  This class is designed to teach basics of food preparation, nutrition, and easy to following cooking instruction.  From start to finish, you'll have so much fun that before you know it you'll have prepared three dishes entirely on your own!  Please bring and wear an apron, wear closed toe shoes, and tie long hair back.  All classes are held at Los Gatos High School in Room 100, located in the back of the school.  Park by the tennis courts and walk up the ramp.  The class is on your right.  Materials fee of $20, payable to the instructor (check or cash), is due at the first class meeting. 

Instructor:  Henriette Chene.  Henriette will share her love of fun and simple recipes from the South of France.  She enjoys teaching and cooking with young chefs of any age, combining the fun cooking experience with nutrition, healthy choices, and smart food shopping.  The best age to start leaning about healthy food and how to prepare an easy and yummy meal is ANY age!  Bon appetit!
