Regular Student: $10.00

Learn the myth concerning the Navajo Creation Story and how the Navajo worlds compare scientifically with the evolution theory. You will learn about Changing Woman and her two sons, Monster Slayer and Child Born of Water, and why they are important to the Navajo people. You will learn about the Navajo clans and their relationships. This class is based on 20 years of instructor's personal relationships with Navajo mentors. (2 sessions)

Instructor:  Thomas Blair grew up in New Jersey, and after he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree from Huron College in South Dakota, he commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. After serving in Vietnam, he became an English teacher for 36 years. He then left teaching and went into generic pharmaceutical sales where he was transferred to the Phoenix area. Thomas has served on several Councils and Associations, and is presently an active member and Commandant of the White Tank Mountain Detachment of the Marine Corps League in Surprise. His hobbies include golf, oil and acrylic painting, silver jewelry making, lapidary work and Navajo history.
