The goal of this course is to create a school-wide climate in which all students feel safe. Teaching social/emotional lessons and conflict resolution strategies is critical in keeping children safe when confronted with unsafe situations. Schools must take an active hand and include parents in ways to combat this epidemic. Knowing the signs to look for and being able to implement strategies for prevention will assist in creating a safe environment.
