First Aid

FIRST AID: Participants in this course will receive American Red Cross Community First Aid and Safety certification, valid for 2 years from date of completion, effective January 1, 2011. Updated ARC 2011 basic emergency responses to bleeding, shock, burns, muscle, bone, joint, head & spine injuries, bites, stings, and sudden illness are provided. The instructional vehicles used in this course include video, first aid kits, role play, and lecture, and is administered by an American Red Cross certified instructor. Community/ Standard CPR is a prerequisite for enrollment in this course. Recertification is required every 2 years effective Jan. 1, 2011.



Additional Information

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time to assure registration for the course. Attendees arriving after the start of the training time may lose registration position, and may not be allowed in due to wait list and need for prompt start time. Please cancel in advance if you cannot attend as frequent "no shows" may result in an inability to register for future training.
