How to Sew and Work with Lace

Description

Nothing is more alluring or romantic than lace, but sewing with it can be a challenge.
Join couture dressmaker, master teacher and author Susan Khalje as she discusses the main types of lace that are used for garment sewing—Alencon, Chantilly, and Guipure. You'll learn what to look for when buying lace, and what you need to know when sewing with lace. She'll bring lots of sample garments from her books,
Threads articles, and videos, and she'll give you a personal shopping tour of the laces Mood has to offer. You'll leave this class empowered to create a dress, skirt, jacket and more out of beautiful, timeless lace.
