Canning and Preserving - Autumn in a Jar: Mixed Berry Jam


 The focus of this class will be gift-giving. We will begin by crafting a Mixed Berry Jam using a variety of dark berries – marion berries, olallie berries and the well-known blackberry. We will enhance this jam with cassis, a sweet liquor made from blackcurrants. Next, we will craft Spicy and Sweet Pick-led Jalapeños Peppers enhanced with garlic and carrot ribbons. These are delicious and perfect on a charcuterie tray served at a holiday cocktail party.
