Description

This class will provide you with advanced setting familiarity and understanding via metering options, exposure compensation and polarizers as well as bracketing for unusual situations. Specific assignment for understanding 3 modalities’ interplay between aperture size, shutter speed and ISO, and effects. We will use Time settings for stopping action, and have a shot with manual mode. To this end we will have 2 -3 field trips to work on your understanding and use. Instructor provides many important tips on improving your photo taking.

About the Instructor: Jill Pipkin, M.A., has been photographing for years, and has traveled to France, Italy, Greece, England, Turkey and Iran to photograph architectural wonders and antiquities, as well as markets, bazaars and people. Her photographs have won many prizes and are in private collections. She has presented slide shows of her work at DeAnza.
