Love that Gnocchi!

Learn the secrets to making “light as air” gnocchi, the Italian version of dumplings. This northern Italian pasta is just perfect for a hearty autumn dinner, served with a warm green vegetable, salad and crusty loaf of bread. There are as many gnocchi and sauces as there are cooks in Italy. We’ll make five recipes ranging from traditional gnocchi with wild mushrooms to a not-so-traditional sweet potato gnocchi with sage and chestnuts. You’ll also learn how to use a wooden gnocchi board to form them into their traditional shape. Bring an apron, a chef’s knife and a container for leftovers. Tuition includes a $20 food fee.
