Phlebotomy Training Program - St. Charles


The St. Charles Phlebotomy Training program is a comprehensive course that provides students with the basic skills needed to become a phlebotomist in a variety of employment opportunities.

This course consists of 40 hours of lecture, hands-on skills labs, and assessments.  Topics include anatomy & physiology, blood collection theory & handling, safety, and applicable laws & regulations governing phlebotomy.  A network of external hospital and clinical laboratory sites will be available to assist you in furthering your training through a hands-on clinical externship. Upon completion you will be prepared to take the ASCP certification exam. (Note: This is not a requirement but is highly recommended.) The final class will be 4 hours.
