History DayTrippers Grades 7-9

FIELD TRIP: Come explore the many historical sites in and around Boston. Stops may include: Lexington, Concord and Minuteman National Park; New Bedford Whaling Museum; Boston Freedom Trail and historic sites; and the JFK Museum and the Edward Kennedy Institute for the Senate. The highlight of the week will be a visit to the World War II Museum in Natick (available only to school groups) for a tour of one of the largest private collections of WWII artifacts in the world. Spend time each day exploring with your fellow history buffs as we discuss how history shapes our region and our world. Note: Some days will begin and end at Thorndike Field parking lot in order to take the T at Alewife Station.
