Calabrian Cuisine


An undiscovered region surrounded by crystal blue seas, Calabria prides itself on dishes not frequently found in other parts of Italy. Learn to prepare a few dishes using some of Calabria’s most beloved ingredients. We will start with a red onion bruschetta, a regional favorite from the city of Tropea, followed by a pasta dish of spaghetti and swordfish in red sauce. For the contorno (side dish), we will prepare eggplant tramezzini topped with cheese. Be prepared to fall in love with Calabria cuisine! Tuition includes a $20 food fee.
