Wisconsin Pyramid Model for Social Emotional Competence

Description

The Pyramid Model training is an evidence based prevention/intervention framework created to prevent challenging behavior and promote healthy social and emotional development in young children, birth through first grade. The training will allow participants time to better understand the connections between supporting positive relationships, engaging environments, intentionally planned social and emotional teaching strategies and individualized interventions. This course meets the requirements to earn YoungStar credit.

Optional: Three (3) credits can be earned from UW-Platteville by taking this course with additional homework. This credit based course is eligible for a TEACH scholarship. Applications can be found at: http://wisconsinearlychildhood.org/programs/teach
