Wisconsin Pyramid Model for Social Emotional Competence

Description

The Pyramid Model training is an evidence based prevention/intervention framework created to prevent challenging behavior and promote healthy social and emotional development in young children, birth through first grade. The training will allow participants time to better understand the connections between supporting positive relationships,engaging environments, intentionally planned social and emotional teaching strategies and individualized interventions. This course meets the requirements to earn YoungStar credit.

Participants must attend all sessions to earn full credit.

Optional: 3 credits can be earned from UW-Platteville by taking this course with additional homework. The cost of these three credits is $832.29. This credit based course is eligible for a TEACH scholarship. Applications can be found at:http://www.uwplatt.edu/continuing/training

REFUND POLICY
A full refund is given if 4-C receives notice of cancellation by 4:00PM the business day prior to the workshop date.  After this date, we CANNOT issue refunds, even in the event of an emergency. Attendance is non-transferable.

ATTENDANCE
Only paid participants may attend trainings. Children may not attend trainings or 4-C events.  Participants must remain for the entire workshop to receive a certificate of attendance.
