Ages 6-15 The Knight School Elementary Chess (September-May)

The Knight School Elementary Chess
The Knight School Chess Team is your school's official chess team and chess party. The Knight School's approach has had amazing success—winning multiple state championships—because our unique and unprecedented educational philosophy, “the chess party,” is the perfect way to transform a complete beginner into a devastating chess machine. Our unique model has swept America because it has never been seen before: we simply invite every beginner in your school to join our school chess team and we use only super-fun teaching methods such as super-fast chess clock-slapping chess games, zany chess videos, a strict bully-free environment, silicone wristbands for tactics mastery, chess puzzlers for candy, driving music, hilarious tactics-lesson videos, and mardi-gras bead tournaments. In this kid-centered classroom environment, we teach our kids every cool trick, strategy, opening, and tactic in chessdom and our kids soon learn to love and master chess and to masterfully control their classrooms, sports fields, and home lives as well!  Laughter, fast-clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this class the week's highlight for the current 600 Chess Party members who make up the awesome network of The Knight School's 75 school chess teams. Your school Chess Party meets once per week throughout the academic school year, from school dismissal until our 4:15 curbside chess carpool. We also have an advanced city-wide super class every Thursday night, a city-wide chess tourney at the end of each semester, awesome summer chess camps, and the unlimited ability to attend at no additional cost any of the other chess teams in our network. Join The Knight School chess party and give your child the gift of amazing chess friends, undeniable academic confidence, a self-identity as a smart kid, and a weekly dose of childhood joy that is the highlight of their week! Sign up today!

Additional Information

Welcome to The Knight School! Parents, permanently write your child's name in the white box on the bottom of your chess set. Kids can use the clippable carry straps to collect and display all their colorful wristbands! The Knight School provides free replacement pieces for life, so if kids are ever missing chess pieces, as a free benefit, kids may simply restock the next week from the extra pieces bag which is always located under the “Big TV” in the chess classroom. They should put any extra pieces they may have back there and just grab whatever they need to have a perfect chess set! Every week, on chess day, kids should always bring their chess bag to chess class, and should wear their chess team shirt. Contact your City Coach at www.theknightschool.com with any questions. Welcome!
