Dayan Qigong-Part A (Morning Session)
Students will learn one of the most popular forms of Qigong used in China today. Dayan Qigong means the Wild Goose Form. This practice consists of 64 movements that flow from one movement into the next. In addition to learning the form, the students will learn a warm up set of exercises to increase flexibility and balance. Students are encouraged to “move at their own pace.” Adaptations can be easily made for people with motor impairments or mobility concerns. Part A includes moves 1-32 of
Dayan Qigong, and Part B includes moves 33-64 of Dayan Qigong.

Pilates/Stretch I-Beginning

Enrollment is limited to 20 students. Pilates is a method of exercise that combines flexibility, muscle strengthening and endurance. Pilates is very popular among dancers and athletes because it emphasizes balance, awareness, development of the body, and self-control.  For those looking for immediate results, Pilates practice has shown tremendous results in providing relief from chronic back pain and is recommended by doctors to support post-surgery rehabilitation. In this class a foam roller and a Thera band are required. Both can be purchased from the instructor. In the beginning Pilates class, we will start by learning the fundamentals.
