Beginners Intro to Woodworking Machines

NOTE: Our brochure incorrectly listed the start time of this class at 8:30 pm. The correct start time is 6:30 p.m.

This class focuses on using woodworking machines and processes to manufacture two useful and decorative wood projects – a covered “keep box” and a footstool. Most of the work is done with machines and portable power tools, with a small amount of it being accomplished with hand tools.

We have a goal of two complete projects at the end of the term, but the first goal we must fulfill is FUN!! Safety is important and is required for use of machines, so all students MUST ATTEND FIRST CLASS. Please, no advanced woodworkers in this class. NOTE: A $15 lab fee is included in the registration fee to cover machine maintenance. Please bring a pencil, paper, goggles, ear protection and closed shoes to each class.

Fee does not include non-refundable $20 cash materials fee payable to instructor at first class.
