In Italy homemade fresh Ravioli mean celebration and Christmas! It’s the holiday dish! For this special menu, we chose vegetarian dishes that everyone will love, adults and kids. You are going to learn how to make from scratch the authentic Italian ravioli and the Mediterranean “polpette” with eggplants.

We will finish our celebration menu with a special dessert “al cucchiaio” (it means you eat it with a spoon) that is very fresh, tasty and perfect after this rich meal.

The Polenta is one the traditional dish of the north of Italy, made of boiled cornmeal. It’s a very popular dish in the winter where the temperature is cold and the restaurants serve the polenta with cheese, meat, sausage or mushroom sauce. We are going to cook together the polenta “concia”, with a variety of cheeses, and the polenta with a tasty sausage sauce.

Apple cake is another traditional northern Italian dish. We’ll bake the version with Mascarpone cheese to make our cake even fluffier!

We introduce you in the rustic cuisine to discover the roots of the Italian gastronomic tradition, made of simple and poor ingredients of the rural culture.

You will learn how to make the famous home-made pasta maltagliati with beans, a tasty and genuine dish of the Emilian rural tradition, and the zucchini filled with meat, a classic Italian dish, rich in taste and flavor. We conclude sweetly with a soft and delicious dessert, panna cotta garnished with fresh berries.
