Birding: Intermediate
Prerequisite:  Beginning Birding  Take your birding skills to the next level!  We will learn how seasonality and habitat shape the expected species in the Bay Area, and incorporate bird song and behavior into our identification repertoires.  The winter quarter will focus on our identification of our overwintering waterfowl, shorebirds and land birds.  Recommended textbook:  Any North America or Western North American bird field guide (Subley's Guide is a good one).
