Birding, Intermediate
Prerequisite:  A series of beginning birding classes or 3+ years of birding experience.  Take your observation skills and birding knowledge to the next level.  Learn how date and habitat shape the expected species in the Bay Area, while incorporating bird song and behavior into your identification repertoire.  The Fall quarter will focus on late summer shorebirds, local breeding songbirds and fall migration. Recommended textbook:  Any North America or Western North America bird field guide (Sibley's Guide is a great one).
