Culinary Career Training

This 9-week class is for students who want to work in a professional kitchen.  Punctuality, being prepared and in class every day is mandatory.

Learn:  baking, cooking, scaling, costing recipes, kitchen math, knife skills, safety/sanitation, catering, production, cafe operation, professional etiquette, customer service,  and job searching skills.

To qualify applicants must:  Be 18 years or older and able to lift 50 lbs.,

be able to speak and write basic English, and be able to stand for 8 hours.

To register:

- Class fee:  $110 to paid at Main Office

- Servsafe certification fee:  $15 student pays online

- Uniform fee:  $35 to be paid to kitchen

Customer Service

Keyboarding
Improve your keyboarding skills using the popular Mavis Beacon program and a variety od drills provided by the instructor.  The course is individualized to accommodate various levels.  Students will also learn basic computer functions and formatting features and will receive a Proficiency Rating Letter.  Typing test fee is included in the class fee.
