Aikido!  The Art of Peace - a dynamic martial art based on harmony.  Enjoy noncompetitive training in a supportive community offered by 7th degree belt Shihan Hideki  Shiohira and his senior students.  The Japanese martial art of Aikiko is a comprehensive system of throwing, joint locking, striking and pinning techniques, coupled  with training in traditional Japanese weapons such as the sword, staff and knife.

Tai Chi, which originates from China emphasizes smooth gentle movements and self-awareness. Practice Tai Chi form to increase agility, balance, flexibility and mind-body coordination.  Also learn and practice Silk-reeling exercise, a series of spiral movements which increases body joints mobility and reduces physical tension.  Explore standing meditation to increase awareness and improve muscle relaxation.  No black marking soled shoes allowed in class.
