Introduction to Agility

Prerequisites:  Dog must be 6 months of age or older.

Introduction to Agility will help you learn how to train your dog for the exciting sport of agility.  It's a fun class, helping increase your dog's confidence and providing good bonding time for dog and handler. This 6 week class includes introduction to obstacles, correct signals and body language.

After completion of this class, the next class in progression is Beginning Dog Training and Intermediate Dog Training.

Beginning Agility 1

Prerequisites:  Completion of Introduction to Agility, Beginning Dog Training and Intermediate Dog Training Classes or Instructor Approval

Beginning Agility is for dogs and handlers who want to continue their training past the "individual obstacle on-lead" level.  The Beginning level classes focus on developing a reliable performance of the obstacles, working towards full-height equipment and learning to sequence using various obstacle combinations.  Dogs and handlers learn to negotiate short sequences of obstacles while concentrating on correct handling, performance and motivation.

This class is not scheduled for every session. If you are interested, register on the waitlist so that when a class is scheduled, you will be notified based on the waitlist order. 

After completion of this class, the next class in progression is Beginning Agility 2.
