Tour - King Tut, IMAX, & The Space Shuttle Endeavor
King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh has recently arrived in Los Angeles for a much-anticipated
10-month stay. The very popular 1978 visit of King Tut items featured 55 artifacts. The current exhibit,
celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, will include 150 spectacular
artifacts, 60 of which have never before traveled outside of Egypt. Before viewing the exhibit, we will see
the film Mysteries of Egypt on the 7-story IMAX screen. After seeing the film, we will have time for lunch
on your own at the food area of the California Science Center and then go into the actual exhibit.
Photography is allowed for personal use only, but no flash or video filming is allowed! Next we will have
time to see the Space Shuttle Endeavor exhibit which celebrates the space shuttle program and the
people who helped make the program possible. Join us for a full and exciting day!
