 Bring your MacBook to class where you will be introduced to Mac O.S. fundamentals. You will explore menus, icons, buttons, and check boxes and understand hardware and software. Using Text Edit you will learn mouse techniques, keyboard instruction and keyboard shortcuts. Learn the best ways to power your device on and off, and have fun in the process. Relax and finally enjoy the world of Apple computing!

Mac O.S. Basics Level 2

Continue beyond Apple fundamentals to understand how items are stored on your MacBook. Create folders to organize pictures, music, and documents, then use "Search" to quickly locate these files. Gain additional knowledge of Text Edit's formatting techniques, and then save documents to a folder and flash drive. Time permitting, students will use Safari to explore Google search techniques, receive a few email tips, and practice uploading and downloading email attachments.
