Just as one prepares the soil for planting seeds, one needs to prepare the mind and body for meditation.  This course does just that.  Mind and body are gently cultivated for spiritual growth and development, regardless of where you are on your journey.  Join the group every Monday and experience the renewal.

MacLaren Conversations

Leon MacLaren and the Sankaracharya of Northern India had a special relationship that spanned almost 30 years.  In this class, students study the questions posed by the student, Mr. MacLaren, and the answers given by the guru, the Sankaracharya, Sri Santanada Saraswati.

The textbook can be purchased from the School.

Plato Study Weekend

Rescheduled - New Dates:

 

Plato was a pupil or a disciple of Socrates.  Socrates was executed in 399BC at the age of 70 and Plato was 28 at the time.

Plato lived to be 80 and he wrote multiple philosophic dialogues in which Socrates is often the main character.

In Laws, he uses Psychology as well as History to make his point.

This Study Weekend will seek to apply Plato’s ideas to today’s world in an effort to gain a better understanding of current circumstances.

Upon registration the material will be sent to you.

September 12, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
