This10-hour training program is intended to provide entry level general industry workers information concerning their rights and employer responsibilities. You also will be provided with information on identifying, abating, avoiding and preventing job related hazards on a job site. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter. Training will emphasize hazard identification and control.
Introduction to OSHA
Walking and Working Surfaces, including Fall Protection
Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention and Protection Plans
Personal Protective Equipment
Safety and Health Programs
If classes are cancelled by UAA, you will receive a 100% refund of fees. To withdraw from a class, you must notify the CE office of your desire no later than 10 days from the start date of the class. Withdrawals will be assessed a $25 administration fee.
