Knowledge Counts Summer School 2018

Late Registration closes at noon on June 16, 2018. The Walk-In Registration on Saturday, June 16 at CHS has been canceled.

The Registration fee for all students enrolling after May 18 increases to $75. The increased registration fee is waived for students only enrolling in the Mastering Middle School workshop.

If you want to add a second semester for a student already enrolled in Summer School 2018 please email Penny Sylvester with the student's name and the name of the class to be added. We will apply the multi-class discount and email you an invoice for payment.

Students taking a class for the first time must enroll in both semesters of the class or no credit will be given.

Please read these with your student so there is no misunderstanding about summer school policies and procedures. We adhere to a zero tolerance policy for infractions.

No student will be allowed to start Summer School without immunization records on file. Students attending from schools outside the Las Virgenes Unified School District must provide proof of immunizations to the Summer School Health Clerk after registering online. See Policies and Procedures page on the Knowledge Counts website for more information.

Students requiring medication during the school day:

Download the medication form and have it completed and signed by the student's physician. This form must be turned in to the Summer School Health Office together with the medication in its original packaging on the first day the student attends school.

Students with crutches, casts, sutures or other medical appliances must submit the signed Medical Waiver Form on the first day the student attends school.

Students must be in attendance on the first and last day of their assigned summer school semester class. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Summer School 2018 Course dates:

Semester 1:

Week 1 Tuesday, June 19 (mandatory attendance day) - Friday, June 22

Week 2 Monday, June 25 - Thursday, June 28 (Friday, June 29 Chemistry only)

Week 3 Monday, July 2 - Friday July 6 (mandatory attendance day - no early dismissal) (no school on Wednesday, July 4)

Semester 2:

Week 4 Monday, July 9 (mandatory attendance day) - Thursday, July 12 (Friday, July 13 Chemistry only)

Week 5 Monday, July 16 - Thursday, July 19 (Friday, July 20 Chemistry only)

Week 6 Monday, July 23 - Wednesday, July 25 (mandatory attendance day - no early dismissal)

Middle School Workshops

Mastering Middle School One-Day Workshop: June 30 at A.C. Stelle, July 14 at Lindero Canyon, or July 21 at A.E. Wright. Students must attend the school site they will be attending in the fall.


The class listings reflect the full price for all classes. The multi-class discount will be applied automatically to your order if you qualify.


The final day to request a refund is Friday, June 1, 2018. NO REFUNDS will be given after this date, regardless of the reason for un-enrolling or changing a class or workshop.
