About the Alliance de San Francisco
The Alliance française is known as the best institution in Northern California for providing high quality French courses.

We are the official center of french certifications such as the DELF Prim’ and DELF Junior (officials qualifications to certify the french competency in french language).

Why learn to speak French?
Children who learn foreign languages at a young age have a considerable advantage in their future education and careers.

About the program
The Alliance Française de San Francisco offers after-school programs for kindergarten and elementary children. Several schools in San Francisco participate in this program (Notre Dame des Victoires, Argonne, Rooftop...).

Through the Alliance Française, children learn French taught by a highly qualified and native French-speaking Alliance Française instructor. The classes use a variety of activities to immerse the children in the French language through art, songs, theater, role-playing, etc.

How to participate in our afterschool program?
In order to begin an after-school program to take place at your school, the Alliance Française requires a minimum of 4 students per group. Classes can be arranged for any day or time.

Please contact the Director of studies at [email protected] if you would like to begin an after-school program at your school.
