Journalist David Whitford will have the inside track when he interviews Hollywood actor Bradley Whitford live in Arlington on Wednesday, April 11; he's the celebrity's big brother. The two will appear on stage at Arlington High School from 7-8:30 pm for a far-reaching conversation about the Emmy Award-winning actor’s successful career, the role of celebrities in political activism, and maybe even a touch of sibling rivalry.

Bradley Whitford, a classically trained stage actor, gained fame as the sarcastic Josh Lyman on NBC’s The West Wing. Most recently he appeared in Steven Spielberg’s The Post, also starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks; and the critically-acclaimed Get Out, for which writer/director Jordan Peele won an Oscar. He is currently in production on A Handmaid’s Tale, for which he joined the cast in Season 2. He recently wrapped production on The Destroyer, appearing with Nicole Kidman; and The Last Full Measure.

All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase books for Arlington’s new Gibbs Sixth Grade School library. The evening is part of Arlington Community Education’s ongoing “Conversations” series hosted by David Whitford.
