A macrobiotic diet isn't just about your weight -- it's about achieving balance in your life. It promises a healthier, more holistic long-term lifestyle for men, women, and children that encompasses mental outlook as well as food choices. Macrobiotic dieters are encouraged to eat regularly, chew their food extremely well, listen to their bodies, stay active, and maintain a perky, positive mental outlook. Whole grains, vegetables, and beans are the mainstays of the diet, which some people believe can prevent or treat cancer.  In this class you will prepare a delectable menu with Spiced Warm Edamame, Soba Noodle Soup with Cabbage, Ginger, Garlic and Shitake Mushrooms, Cucumber & Wakame (Seaweed) Salad and for dessert irresistible Taiyaki (Fish shaped Cakes with red bean filling).

Perfect Dinner Rolls and Restaurant Style Garlicky Breadsticks

Join International Chef Suzanne, Cookbook Author and Sommelier for a Dinner Rolls workshop where she demonstrates on how to make endless variations on one basic recipe dough. Based on the French pain de mie, which gets a tender crumb from milk, flour, yeast and softened European butter, with just a bit of optional sweetness from raw organic honey. You also get to make those restaurant style Garlicky Breadsticks that are highly addictive at any table and with any meal. All oven fresh bread creations will be enjoyed with Chef Suzanne’s heartwarming soup.
