Create Your Own Cubist Artwork

Cubism was a movement pioneered in Paris in 1907 by Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso.

It represents multiple views of a portrait or still-life, creating an abstracted view of the subject.

Objects are broken up and reassembled and seen at the same time from above, below and sideways creating the subject in an abstract form.

This is a perfect introduction for those interested in understanding  how to create an abstract work.

The art work could be a painting, drawing or mixed-media with collage. Please see examples and feel free to bring any of your own materials to incorporate into your piece.
